Een aangename verrassing, mijn zakelijke Nokia 3109c
I’m trying to give some answers here, but most of all I’m giving my opinion on this phone I got for business purposes. I didn’t expected this model, in fact I didn’t even know it existed… The Nokia 3109 classic is truly fantastic! I’ve had Samsungs and Sony Ericssons and always had some anti-Nokia feelings, but then I found out this mobile has more class than any mobile I’ve ever had.
Pros:
- Fantastic buttons for sms-messaging.
- Truly amazing battery life. It blows me away. Nokia says it built the 3109 and 3110 especially to last long - I believe them rightaway.
- Customisable themes.
- Great support for email, web and applications.
- It feels really, really robust.
- Understandable interface, with many deep options if you want to find them. - Room for 2 GB expandable memory.
- Clear and crisp voicesound.
- Great pc-connectivity with Nokia pc studio: sharing files, backing up and synchronise with Outlook.
- Good pricing.
Cons:
- The screens resolution isn’t all that good: 128x160 pixels.
- Want a camera? You’ll have to stick to the 3110 with fingerprint-tricky black.
- Color of created themes reflects in font: some colours can be unreadable while writing smses.
I bought a Samsung U700 to follow up my Sony Ericsson K800i and Samsung E700 for personal calling. Good phones, but I like the Nokia best. A great deal for everyone!
De camera van de Samsung E700 is achteraf best wel zielig
My original Samsung E700 ‘died’ two years after I purchased it, on my vacation in Spain. Due to the sand, I thought. I was so naive. Of course, incredible beautiful phones like these are built to last for only two years. Why else whould you buy a new phone?
Long story short: when my Sony Ericsson K800i didn’t recharge anymore in the end of last year, I dove on eBay and got myself a refurbished Samsung E700 from Hong Kong. And so the most beautiful phone ever built twirls in my hands again.
While I’m sure the E700 won’t last longer than two years again, there is a lot to love about this phone. The outside of the phone is just incredible sleek, with a stylish darkblue line breaking the metallic bodycolour. It flips easily, it’s got great buttons for calling and sms-purposes and it’s still equiped with that sweet little VGA-camera.
You could just call it poor now. The callsound, speaker and the amount of functions too are quite pover for todays standards. Back in 2004 however, the E700 was top of the bill. If you too had great memories shared with this phone, you should consider looking on eBay. It’s worth it.
